The club are delighted to report that centre half Nick Grimes has been signed on contract forms until the end of the current season.
The 21 year old joined the Peacocks from Tiverton Town in August and has impressed since then with some assured displays at the back. Commenting on this development he said: “I’ve made it abundantly clear since I’ve joined how much I’ve enjoyed my time here so far, working with the likes of Rob, Matt and Meaks, as well as playing and mixing with the quality of players we’ve got in the squad. I can’t wait to build on the good work so far and see what we can produce throughout the rest of the season.”
Head of Football Rob Dray added:” The contract signing of Grimesy again shows our statement of intent. For 21 he is very young for a centre back and he will no doubt play at a higher level but as important for me is what a great character he is as he’s settled in very well and his performances deserve this commitment to him.”
