The football season may have ended prematurely for the Peacocks, but team spirit continues to be alive and kicking off the pitch.

With their customary end of season tour not possible due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, the first team squad have made the fantastic gesture to donate their fines to the NHS. The fines, collected throughout the season, usually go towards paying for the cost of the team’s trip abroad but instead will this year be given to the organization at the forefront of treating victims of the virus.

The team’s endeavours do not stop there. The players, management and some club staff have pledged to shave their heads (or grow their hair if already cropped!) to raise funds for Love Musgrove, the official charity of Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. Many have already had a close encounter with the hair clippers today so please check out our Social Media channels for the latest pictures. A JustGiving page has been set up to receive donations for the charity and already over £1,300 has been raised. A brilliant effort by the players, management and staff and massive thanks to all who have contributed so far. To kindly make a donation please click HERE
