The Peacocks’ captaincy team has been confirmed ahead of their historic first season at National League South level.

Team Captain Nick Grimes will again assume the armband for the campaign ahead, having successfully taken on the role two years ago. New Team Vice-captain will be midfield man Lloyd James who enjoyed a fine second half of the season on loan from Bath City before signing permanently over the summer. The Club Captain will need no introduction, with long-serving goalkeeper Lloyd Irish being appointed in the role following his return to the fold over the summer.

Head of Football Rob Dray commented:” All three appointments are great for the club. Grimesy’s tenure as captain last season speaks for itself and he is an absolute winner. Lloyd came in and did a fantastic job with his experience and is great guiding the younger players while Lloyd is a Peacocks legend and will be an excellent club captain. I look forward to working with all three during the season ahead.”
