Midfielder Matt Buse has left the club to sign a one year contract at Torquay United. He had been training with the National League side in pre-season and had featured in their friendly games, culminating in manager Gary Johnson offering him terms. Buse commented on Twitter:
“Delighted to sign for @TUFC1899 I’d like to say a massive thanks to the players, staff and fans at @TauntonTownFC and I wish everyone at the club all the best!! Now ready for the next challenge.”
Buse made 97 full appearances for the Peacocks plus 23 as sub in two spells at the club and scored 20 goals including some very important late winners. We thank Matt for his contribution during his time at the club and wish him every success for the future.
