We are delighted to welcome Joe Budd to the club on a loan deal from Bristol Rovers.
The 19 year old midfielder has risen through the Rovers Academy, featuring for the Under 18’s and Development squad before being handed his first pro contract in May this year. He has also represented Wales at youth level. Recently he has spent time on loan at our League rivals Hendon and was in their team which beat Town 2-0 last month.
Joe told tauntontown.com:” I’m really pleased to be at Taunton. It all came about very quickly but very pleased to get signed and get going tomorrow night. I’m looking forward to helping the club push for promotion and stay up near the top of the league.”
Head of Football Rob Dray added:” As soon as we saw Joe at Hendon and heard he was available, we knew he would be a good fit. Athletic and with international pedigree, he will be a great addition to the squad given our couple of midfield injuries and a massive amount of games coming up.”
Budd goes straight into the squad for tomorrow night’s game against Truro City.
