The Peacocks picked up their first point in three Vanarama National League South games with a 0-0 draw at Chelmsford City this afternoon.

Despite being the better side in the first half, Town couldn’t make a breakthrough with Dylan Morgan having the best chance but he was denied by City keeper Josh Oluwayemi. The home side picked up their game after the break but the Town defence stood firm before a superb tip over save from keeper Dan Lavercombe during stoppage time from Finley Barbrook’s deflected shot preserved parity. The Peacocks slip to 7th following this stalemate and now have a blank week before Farnborough visit Wordsworth Drive next Saturday.
