Former Blackburn Rovers striker Matt Jansen is the latest player to be confirmed for the Premier League Legends XI which will take on a Taunton Town Legends XI at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium on Sunday 19th April, kick-off 2.00pm.
Jansen, who scored over 50 goals for Blackburn as well as also playing in the Premiership for Crystal Palace, joins former Aston Villa midfield man Lee Hendrie and Liverpool stalwart Alan Kennedy in the Legends side. Hendrie made over 250 Premiership appearances for Villa between 1995 and 2007 while Kennedy appeared for both Newcastle United and Liverpool in the top flight and also won two England caps.
Tickets are priced at £15 Adults, £10 Concessions and £5 for Under 18’s.
