Malachi Linton scored his first goal for the Peacocks as they drew 1-1 with Plymouth Parkway in their latest pre-season game this evening.

In another competitive work-out, Town were on top in the first half but found themselves trailing at the break after Parkway had edged ahead after 39 minutes when a loose clearance was picked by Alex Cairo whose shot seemed to catch keeper Dan Lavercombe out as it found the net. Cairo hit the post in the early stages of the second half before the Peacocks drew level on 58 minutes when Linton headed home from a Lloyd James cross. There were further opportunities for both sides but it finished all square as Town now look forward to the friendly with Tiverton Town on Tuesday.
