We are very pleased to report that Jack Goodall has agreed terms to remain with the Peacocks for the 2021-22 season, bringing the number of players now secured up to 16.

Jack told tauntontown.com:” I’m very happy to be staying at Taunton and working with Rob again. I’m looking forward to getting back to training and seeing everyone to get ready for the new season which fingers crossed will be a really successful one for us.”

The 22 year old right back joined the club in October last year from Weston-super-Mare where he graduated through their Academy and Under 18 side but was restricted to just two appearances for the Peacocks before the campaign came to a halt. He has spent loan spells at a number of clubs including Shepton Mallet Town, Slimbridge and Bridgwater Town, and made his senior debut for Weston in April 2018.

Head of Football Rob Dray remarked:” Securing another young player like Jack is massive for us in terms of attitude, fitness and quality. He fits everything we want, tackles like iron and the roughest hands in football.”
