The Peacocks entertain Truro City for the second time in the space of a month in the 2nd Round of the Southern League Challenge Cup tomorrow evening (20th November), kick-off 7.45pm.
The sides only met last month in a League fixture at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium, with Town coming out on top by a 2-0 margin courtesy of an own goal before the break and a second half header from Nick Grimes. Since that meeting both teams have exited the Buildbase FA Trophy but the Peacocks got back in the groove at the weekend with a 4-1 win over Blackfield & Langley whilst the Cornish side were beating Hartley Wintney 2-1 to maintain third spot, four points ahead of Town. It promises to be another close affair tomorrow with a place in the last 16 at stake.
There will be changes to the line-up tomorrow, with Bridgwater and Taunton College students Noah Coppin and Callum Watts set to start after both came off the bench on Saturday. Head of Football Rob Dray also hopes to include two new trialists subject to paperwork going through in time.
