The club have received several queries relating to the ticket information released yesterday for the Peacock’s home pre-season friendlies. Therefore, we would like to confirm certain details ahead of Friday’s opening home friendly against Chippenham Town which will hopefully answer any questions supporters may have.
Season Ticket holders will be entitled to free entry to all home friendlies subject to them advising the club either via email (clubshop@tauntontown.com) or by phone (Matchday Assistance number 07584 671053) that they will be attending. This notification must be received 48 hours prior to the kick-off of each friendly at the latest. A supporter who has yet to reserve a Season Ticket but still wishes to buy one will still be eligible for free entry to any friendly as long as the purchase has been completed and the club have been given notification of attendance, all before the 48 hour deadline. Therefore, for the Chippenham game for example, this process must be completed by 7.00pm Wednesday.
All Under 18’s will need to purchase a match ticket to gain entry to the friendlies. As stated in our Season Ticket Update last week, due to the directives implemented by the FA which place a strict limit on our crowd capacity, unfortunately we will not currently be able to offer free entry to Under 14’s as per previous seasons. Similarly we will be restricting complimentary entry to key officials and media from opposition clubs who will need to notify us in advance of their attendees. We will not be issuing free tickets to any non-essential staff.
Match tickets are non-transferable and single use only, with strictly no re-entry to the stadium. Gates will open no earlier than one hour before kick-off for 7.00pm friendlies, therefore entry to the stadium for Friday’s game against Chippenham will be from 6.00pm onwards. All Season Ticket holders should enter the stadium via the turnstile adjacent to the main vehicular gate while Matchday Ticket holders should use the usual turnstiles at the end of the long stand. Because the inner car park is currently closed, parking spaces will be more limited in the outer car park so please ensure you arrive in good time.
All transactions within the stadium will now be contactless so please don’t forget your cards if you want to buy any refreshments or visit the Club Shop.
