The Peacocks suffered their fourth successive defeat in the Vanarama National League South with a 4-0 reverse at Weston-super-Mare this afternoon. The hosts never looked back after going ahead with just seven minutes played, Reuben Reid releasing Bailey Kempster on the left to clip home into the far corner. James Dodd then played Reid through to double Weston’s lead on 36 minutes before the Seagulls added two more after the break with excellent finishes. Jordan Bastin curled home from the edge of the box on 70 minutes and Keiran Thomas made it 4-0 three minutes later with a strike from the right into the far corner. The Peacocks posted several efforts in the closing stages but it was all too little too late as their relegation worries continue.
