We are delighted to welcome Jack Veale to the club who has joined us on a long-term loan deal from Exeter City.
The 18 year old midfielder featured for City in the pre-season game against the Peacocks last month and has now come to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium until later in the season. He has been with the Grecians since the age of 7 and was handed a pro contract earlier this year, having caught the eye of both Southampton and Brighton last season. He made his first appearance for Town on Tuesday evening against Bristol City U23’s as a substitute.
Jack told tauntontown.com”: I’m delighted to have signed and I can’t wait to get playing football with the lads. It’ll be my first taste of men’s football so I’m excited for that challenge. Hopefully we can have a successful season as a team as well as developing myself.”
Head of Football Rob Dray added:” Massive thanks to Dan Green at Exeter again. Vealey is another one off the conveyor belt, I’ve watched him a couple of times and he is a talented boy who will give us another great option going forward.”
