Taunton Town have been given a walk over through to the Final of the Somerset Premier Cup competition held over from last season.

The Peacocks were due to face Larkhall Athletic next month in the delayed semi-final, but the Bath side have withdrawn from the competition, meaning Town automatically go through to the final where they will meet Western League Brislington after Weston-super-Mare also withdrew from their respective semi-final.

The Final of the Somerset Premier Cup for the 2023-24 season will be held at Twerton Park, the home of Bath City FC, on Tuesday 31st July, kick-off 7.45pm.

In the absence of the Larkhall game, a further pre-season friendly has now been arranged away at Bristol Manor Farm on Wednesday 17th July, ko 7.30pm.
