The Peacocks wait for a first home win this season in the Southern League Premier South continues after they drew 3-3 with Hanwell Town at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium this afternoon.
In an entertaining game, the hosts made an ideal start when Archie Ferris latched onto a long pass to score after just five minutes before Hanwell equalised four minutes later through Jordan Edwards, with the visitors then grabbing the lead on 17 minutes when Dwayne Duncan nodded past Adam Parkes. Taunton drew level after 34 minutes when Alfie Moulden’s corner was headed home by Jacob Hodgson before the visitors regained the lead one minute into first half stoppage time via Edwards’ excellent free kick. Taunton restored parity again after 64 minutes when skipper Tom Smith drilled home from close range but despite further pressure Taunton could not find another as they now prepare for Tuesday night’s visit to Plymouth Parkway.
