The club are delighted to report that our partnership with Sheppy’s Cider goes from strength to strength. The local company became a partner last October when they began supplying their products in the clubhouse at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium and now they have further reinforced their support of the club by becoming our main shirt sponsor, with their name proudly displayed on the front of all three of the Peacocks’ strips.

Taunton Town FC Football Operations Manager Karl Lindsay warmly welcomed the new sponsorship, saying:” We were delighted to team up with Sheppy’s last season to offer their product in the bar for the first time. It’s gone so well that we are delighted to continue our partnership with Sheppy’s by signing a multi-year exclusivity deal for cider as well as them becoming our major shirt sponsor. We are immensely proud to be able to continue this partnership with Sheppy’s Cider and look forward to continuing the growth of the brand at the ground whilst most importantly keeping everything local.”

Matt Hill, Marketing and Events Manager at Sheppy’s Cider remarked:” We are delighted to announce the continuation of our partnership with Taunton Town, which has now been expanded to include our role as the front-of-shirt sponsor for the upcoming season. Taunton Town fans have much to take pride in regarding their local football team. The players and management share this enthusiasm, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing the club. As the town’s leading cider producer, we wish Taunton Town a successful season ahead as they continue to inspire the local community with the work they do both on and off the field.”

There is a reference to Sheppy’s cider making as far back as 1816, since when the company have grown to become a flourishing business with various attractions available at their base near Bradford-on-Tone including a restaurant, a farm shop and tours of the orchards and cider making facilities.
