Semi-Finals For Town

The Peacocks progressed to the Semi-Final of the Somerset Premier Cup with a 1-0 victory over Welton Rovers (13 Mar).

Town once again took the opportunity to field a number of players from the Club’s partnership with Bridgwater & Taunton College and it paid off. Luke Manley grabbed the only goal of the game in the 36th minute to set up a trip to Frome Town in the next round.

Following the match Rob Dray remarked, “A great exercise for our first team lads tonight. There were some really competent performances and with the BTC lads fitting in so well with the more experienced players A good nights work and on to the Semi Final we go.”
