The Peacocks travel to bottom of the table Staines Town tomorrow afternoon (22 Dec) KO: 3pm.

Town will be looking to get back to winning ways after falling to a disappointing 3-1 defeat at the hands of Hartley Wintney the previous weekend which ended their run of 8 consecutive league victories.

Staines Town are having a difficult campaign clocking up 9 points so far this term and are currently 10 points from safety. The two sides met in the opening game of the league season which saw the Peacocks run out with a comfortable 4-0 victory at the Viridor Stadium. Town will be hoping for a repeat performance but know there is no room for complacency following defeat at the Memorial Field last time out.

Town are again at full strength and will be bolstered by two loan recruits for the trip to Wheatshef Park. Midfielder James Dodd and Goalkeeper Chandler Hallett join on a month’s loan from Exeter City and Colchester United respectively.

Looking ahead to the match Rob Dray said, “Thanks to Aaron Pugh and Dan Green of Exeter City and likewise to Hannah Shynn of Colchester United for allowing James and Chandler to join us for the next month which is crammed with games and will be a crucial time for us. I’ll be honest with you, I need to see a reaction from the boys after last week. Losing hurts and I didn’t need to say a lot in the dressing room after the game. We have set such high standards so far this year, which may have surprised a few but not me and I know they will be busting to put it right tomorrow ahead of 3 massive games going into the New Year.”
