The Peacocks will be looking for their fourth successive Evo-Stik League win when they travel to Gosport Borough today (17th November), kick-off 3.00pm.

Tuesday’s victory over Walton Casuals at the Viridor Stadium lifted Town above Weymouth into second place although the Dorset side have a game in hand so another three points at Privett Park will definitely be the aim today. Gosport escaped relegation from the Southern Premier last season despite finishing in penultimate position and have enjoyed a mixed campaign so far, sitting in 14th spot and having won only one of their last six league fixtures. Their form is better at home where they have won four and drawn one of their seven games to date.

Ollie Chamberlain is still carrying an injury so will not be in the squad and there is a doubt over skipper Matt Wright following the challenge which forced out of the midweek encounter with Walton Casuals.

Head Of Football Rob Dray said; “It’s important we back up this week’s good performances with a positive result at Gosport who again are a big club in this league. Maintaining our levels is key but we are looking forward to it, confidence is high and we have good competition amongst the squad at the moment.”
