The Peacocks stretched their unbeaten home record in League games to 27 with a 0-0 draw against Braintree Town at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium this afternoon. A lacklustre National League South encounter saw the hosts have the better of the first half without testing Iron keeper Jack Sims while the game evened out after the break, with the visitors coming closest to scoring when Joe Guest made a superb goal line clearance and Jack Cawley’s header then skimmed the bar.
