The club would like to extend a massive thanks to Jordans Sports Grounds Solutions Limited for their fantastic work over the summer on the pitch at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium.
The Peacocks’ problems with the playing surface were well documented last season, the wet weather causing a large number of games to be postponed. In a bid to help alleviate this, Jordans were brought in to carry out an overhaul of the pitch, involving digging out the old surface, laying a base of sand and topsoil, and then reseeding a new pitch.
Fans were treated to a view of the lush new surface at the season’s opening game against Gloucester City last Saturday, with the next home game coming against Sholing on 24th August so put the date in your diary and come and see the results, with hopefully another positive one to follow by 5.00pm!
