The Peacocks came from behind to record their 6th straight victory in the Evo-Stik South Premier Division and return to the top of the table.
Town were trailing on the 20th minute as Reggie Young struck to give the hosts the lead. Dan Sullivan responded six minutes later to equalise and Rocky Neal grabbed a brace before the break to see the visitors ahead.
The fourth and final goal for the Peacocks came in injury time as Craig Veal rounded the keeper and converted into the open goal sealing the 4-1 victory against Farnborough.
Reaction | Head of Football Rob Dray said, “The important thing for me was the reaction after a relatively hesitant first twenty minutes where we didn’t settle. The boys showed magnificent heart and desire to win away twice in a week which in any league is good but this one is a different level. The Pitch was difficult but in the second half we adapted well and started to do the basics a lot better. Huge credit to our travelling fans who made a lot of noise today.”
