The Peacocks search for their first win of the Southern League Premier South season continues after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Sholing at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium this afternoon.
The visitors grabbed the lead after eight minutes when Dan Mason headed in from Brad Targett’s cross. Archie Ferris hit the crossbar for Taunton who drew level after 34 minutes through Alfie Moulden who drilled home from the edge of the box. Neither side were able to add further to the scoreboard as the Peacocks now turn their attentions to Bank Holiday Monday’s game at Frome.
