Taunton Town face Dorchester Town at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium on Saturday 1st March.
We asked Richard Luffman some questions ahead of the game;
Firstly, how have you found the week in Dubai?
Top week with the family, nice to get some sun and now ready for a busy set of games starting with Dorchester tomorrow. Landing at 7am, so let’s hope for no delays.
A massive game as we face Dorchester Town at the Cygnet, what’s your thoughts ahead of the game?
Well it represents our last chance to draw them back in, in my opinion. If they get a result then that’s our playoff chances gone. They also need to win the game as Havant won’t lose many so both teams will feel 3 points is a must. We’ve a lot to do to catch them but if we can get that gap to 7 with a game in hand, you never know. They’ve also got a lot of tough games ahead.
Latrell Humphrey Ewers has extended his loan until the end of the season, how happy are you to get this over the line?
Very pleased, he’s a great player who add dynamism to our midfield. Harris has been great in there, but like Jack, a few weeks before having an opportunity for a little rest will serve him well. And La will add strength in depth to the squad.
Last time out against Dorchester it finished in a 1-1 draw, what can we take away from that game to help us tomorrow?
We’ve bettered every score in the second game apart from against Frome, so if the trend continues we’ll be looking at a 3 point return which we absolutely need. Dorchester are a great side on an 18 match unbeaten run but the draws will be a cause of concern for them, they’ll be a threat but I think they’ll underestimate how good a side we have become.
Finally, a message to the peacocks fans ahead of tomorrow.
Dorchester fans were brilliant at their place against us, so I’m sure they’ll travel in numbers. So get behind that goal and sing loud and proud. This is our house, so let’s show up on and off the field.
