We would like to welcome the newest addition to the Peacocks’ grounds team who is going to prove invaluable over the coming weeks.
Recent difficulties at the club have not been helped by our trusty blue tractor finally giving up the ghost. Buying a new one would be a little tricky right now but fortunately though, we’ve been able to secure the services of this little bad boy on a free international loan (well, from Wales) until the end of the season. He’s no spring chicken but hopefully he’s got the legs to get us through!
Huge thanks to Josh Bartlett of Green Scaffolding / The Deer Hub for collecting the tractor from the Rhondda and delivering it to the ground for us for nothing more than a sausage roll and a cup of coffee!
Football Operations Manager Karl Lindsay commented:” Josh has helped us out beyond belief with this gesture of collecting the tractor alongside Director Derek Perry who gave up his day off to go with Josh. We cannot thank them enough. Now all we need is the weather to break and the pitch to dry up so the Groundsteam can begin to use it.”
