The club are saddened to learn of the passing of former player John Price.
John made his debut for the Peacocks towards the end of the 1978-79 campaign and went on to feature several times for the club in the following season at centre half. His family have a long association with the club, his father Ernie having been a player, manager and director while his son Jamie has also worn the claret and blue on many occasions. A minute’s silence in memory of John was held before the commencement of yesterday’s FA Cup match with Didcot Town.
