We reported several days ago on the unfortunate setback received by summer signing and local boy Phil Mendonca as he looked to rebuild his career with the club following a serious knee injury which flared up during a recent training session. Phil will require surgery to completely repair his knee and is seeking to have the operation done as soon as possible to ensure a swift return to playing for the Peacocks so has therefore decided to pursue treatment privately.
