A Jay Foulston goal on the stroke of half time steered the Peacocks to a hard fought 1-0 victory at Hungerford Town this afternoon.
The win was Town’s first on the road this season in the National League South and came courtesy of Foulston’s calm finish inside the box after Zac Smith’s ball had found him. The Peacocks soaked up second half pressure from the hosts playing down the slope, with Jack Bycroft making one fine save to maintain the advantage, but Town again stood firm to make it only four goals conceded from seven games.
