The Peacocks are finally off the mark in the Southern League Premier South after they secured their first win of the season with a 2-0 victory at Frome Town this afternoon.
After James Ollis had struck the crossbar for the hosts, Taunton snatched the lead two minutes before the interval through David Duru who fired past Kyle Phillips after getting clear of the defender. The Peacocks then added a second goal after 72 minutes when Evander Grubb set up Owen Brain to drill home as the visitors comfortably saw the remainder of the game out.
