It proved a disappointing start to the New Year for the Peacocks as they went down 3-0 at Slough Town in the Vanarama National League South this afternoon.
The hosts took the lead after 36 minutes when Nathan Minhas steered home Matt Lench’s corner before adding two more after the break. Munashe Sundire’s shot from distance found the corner of Dan Lavercombe’s net on 78 minutes and Slavi Spasov was unmarked in the middle to net a third two minutes from time to secure a comfortable victory over a Peacocks side which rarely threatened.
