A Dan Sullivan goal on the stroke of half time secured the Peacocks a hard-earnt 1-0 win at Beaconsfield Town this afternoon, with victory extending the unbeaten run to an excellent 12 games.
Both keepers made good stops during the first half which appeared to be ending goalless until a mistake in the 45th minute cost the hosts, a roll-out by keeper Ryan Hall being snapped up by Ross Stearn who fed Sullivan on the right side of the box and he clipped a neat finish past Hall. Town defended well after the break to keep Beaconsfield at bay while creating openings themselves, the three points keeping the Peacocks in 4th position.
