It’s four Vanarama National League South wins from four at Wordsworth Drive for the Peacocks as they beat Dartford 1-0 this afternoon courtesy of a second half goal from Dave Sims-Burgess.
Defences remained firmly on top during a goalless first half before play opened up more after the break which led to the crucial goal after 63 minutes. Cameron Evans diagonal ball was laid back across by Ollie Chamberlain and substitute Sims-Burgess headed home from inside the six yard box. Town saw another couple of chances go begging before they were forced to dig in for the latter stages as the Darts pressed for an equaliser but the home side dealt with what came their way to secure a victory which lifts them up to 5th in the table.
