Match Report

The Peacocks suffered a disappointing defeat at the Easy as HGV Stadium. Taunton got off to the worst possible start when a second minute shot by Rene Howe beat visiting keeper Lloyd Irish.

The second goal arrived after 34 minutes when a cross by Andrew Sealey-Harris was turned into his own net by Jamie Price and the third one was scored from the penalty spot just two minutes before the break through David Fitzpatrick, who scored after Price had brought down Reggie Young.

Despite two half time substitutions chances were not being created and it was no surprise when substitute Bernie Tanner added a fourth goal after 61 minutes.

Ben Adelsbury and Ryan Brett both had free kicks which were off target and substitute Luke Spokes had a shot saved by home keeper Liam Beach 12 minutes from time, but it was not be Taunton’s night and Farnborough comfortably took the points.
