Taunton Town Football Club and Quantock Brewery are pleased to announce a new multi-year deal which extends relations between the two brands following a successful first year.
The partnership between the Peacocks and multi award winning Quantock Brewery first came to being at the start of the 2023/24 season, becoming an instant success.
Operations Manager Karl Lindsay remarked, “We are delighted as a Club to engage with local suppliers for food and beverages. Last season we partnered with Quantock to offer IPA and Lager, which proved very successful. I am delighted to announce that we have now tied up a multi-year deal with Quantock Brewery to stock IPA as a can, lager and an ale on draught.
More excitingly, Quantock Brewery will produce a bespoke Peacock inspired lager in a can for sale behind the bar on matchdays and events and it will also be available to purchase in our club shop.
This is a really exciting time for the Club with local brands to offer the best offer to our supporters. We thank Cheryl and Josh for working with us to be able to put this deal together and continuing the growth of our partnership.”
Cheryl Ford (Managing Director) and Josh Martin (Head of Sales) said, “We are absolutely delighted to be continuing our relationship with Taunton Town Football Club. Supporting local communities and providing memorable experiences for the fans is key here at Quantock Brewery.
We are proud to now be supplying not one, but TWO, of our beers and contribute to vibrant atmosphere on matchdays. Our flagship beer, ‘QPA’ a 4% pale ale will now be available alongside our ‘Lager Than Life’ on draught across the ground for the upcoming season.
We are honoured we can continue to build and grow this successful relationship with one of the South West’s longstanding and well-respected football clubs. Going forward we will be offering Taunton Town supporters discounts in our brewery shop, exclusive tastings and more to be announced later in the year.
This extension is a testament to the collaborative working relationship both parties have built over the past year. We have seen how much value local craft beer has added to the supporter experience.”
