The new season opened with a bang at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium as the Peacocks fought out a 3-3 draw with Gloucester City in the Southern League Premier South yesterday afternoon. The Peacocks were totally in control at the break thanks to goals from Archie Ferris inside the first minute and an Evander Grubb brace after 15 and 29 minutes before City turned the tables after the break to secure a point. Joe Hanks began the fightback with a penalty after 64 minutes before Harry Burns and another from Hanks completed the recovery during the next five minutes.
