The club wish to welcome Mark Kitchener who has been co-opted onto the Board after spending the last few months in an observational role at the club. His key responsibility will be Health & Safety and he will assume the role of the club’s Safety Officer.
Mark has many years’ experience delivering this role in his day to day working life and is looking forward to making sure that matchdays are enjoyable for all at Wordsworth Drive, but also ensuring all who attend a game go home safely. He has been a supporter of the club since moving to Taunton in 2012 and currently plays and manages Taunton Town Over 50’s Walking Football Team.
Speaking about his appointment Mark said:” I am really looking forward to starting the role and engaging with all who attend the ground for matchdays or to use the conference facilities. I will look to make the ground as safe and welcoming as I can. Alongside the safety aspect of the role, health and wellbeing for all is a key part of what I intend to deliver.”
