With the Easter period approaching towards the end of the month, we are delighted to be able to confirm an Extra Eggsciting Event for our Vanarama National League South game with Chelmsford City at Wordsworth Drive on Saturday 23rd March.
The afternoon is kindly being sponsored by local businesses Coffee Blue and Courtyard Cafe and will feature an Eggstravaganza of Easter Fun including live music from two separate performers both before the game and at half time whilst the Football Fun Factory will be in attendance with their inflatables to challenge everyone in the family! There will also be a FREE Easter treat for the first 100 children through the turnstiles and flyers will also be distributed locally during the coming days with a free entry voucher for one child! Our usual food and drink vendors will be in attendance with their own special offers which will be publicised on our normal channels during the forthcoming fortnight.
Saturday 23rd March is also Non-League Day, an annual initiative which began in 2010 and which was set up to spotlight non-league football, the hard work club volunteers do and the integral value of local clubs to their communities. The day always coincides with an international break in the calendar and with England due to play Brazil at Wembley at 7.00pm, it is hoped that the game will be screened live in the clubhouse after the main event of Taunton v Chelmsford! More information on Non-League Day can be found HERE
With the current financial challenges the club is facing, your support is even more appreciated so please put Saturday 23rd March in your diary, encourage your friends and family to come down and enjoy the afternoon, and of course cheer on the Peacocks as they battle for crucial league points.
See you there! 🦚
