We are delighted to confirm our latest partnership in the shape of popular local beer producer Quantock Brewery. The agreement will see them supply the club with their lager whilst also providing other products for sale at the stadium, with the good news being that draught lager will be available to buy from tomorrow’s Vanarama National League South game against Farnborough!
Quantock Brewery were formed back in 2007 and moved to their current premises in Bishops Lydeard six years later after outgrowing their original base. Since then, they have become a successful player in the regional beer industry, brewing a large number of varieties which can be purchased online, at their gift shop or drank on-site in their taproom!
Cheryl Ford, Managing Director at Quantock Brewery, commented: “We are delighted to be the official craft lager supplier to Taunton Town FC. Being an independent family run business, it’s really important to us to be able to support and supply our community and we’re continually looking at ways to do this so working together with Taunton Town Football Club was an easy decision to make.
We are hugely proud of our home team, so naturally we are excited to be collaborating with the football club and bringing our beer to fellow supporters. We have followed the impressive progress of Taunton Town Football Club and are really pleased to be supporting them on and off the pitch. Our beer ‘Lager Than Life‘ will be available at the Somerset Campervan Co Stadium on draught and in cans across the ground.”
Chairman Kevin Sturmey said:” We are delighted to Partner with another local supplier as we want to support our local businesses in our community. Quantock Brewery offer fantastic products locally produced and the quality is second to none. The Lager than Life draught lager will now complement the Sheppy’s 200 draught in the main bar while more Quantock Brewery products will be available in other outlets here. I would like to thank Cheryl, Josh and all the team for the speed in organising this deal and hope this partnership will continue for many years to come.”
It’s not stopping there, with Kevin adding:” There are many projects ongoing and some big announcements coming soon as we strive to offer the best matchday experience in Non-League football. We need the town behind us so please come along, not only to support your local team, but also the local businesses who support us.”
