The Peacocks suffered their second successive Vanarama National League South defeat after they went down 3-0 at Bath City this evening.
It proved a disappointing outcome to a game in which Town more than matched the hosts during a goalless first half, with Ross Stearn coming closest to scoring when his shot hit the post. However they were unable to maintain their performance in the second half which was a different affair once Jordan Thomas had fired City ahead after 57 minutes. A free kick from Thomas was fumbled by Peacocks’ keeper Dan Lavercombe on 78 minutes and fell nicely for Scott Wilson to head home a second before Danny Greenslade drilled a 20 yard rocket into the far corner two minutes later to secure the points.
