We have been very saddened to learn of the passing of our former player Dave Singleton.
Dave was a talented striker who was with the Peacocks for four seasons, making his debut towards the end of the 1976-77 campaign and going on to score 43 goals from 96 full and 14 substitute appearances over the next few years until Weymouth signed him for £6,000 in December 1980. The bulk of his career was spent with Bath City where he made 415 appearances between 1981 and 1993 and scored 93 goals. A minute’s silence in memory of Dave was held before this afternoon’s game with Chippenham Town.
The club wish to extend their deepest condolences to Dave’s family and friends.
