The Peacocks kept themselves well cemented in the BetVictor Southern League promotion race with a deserved 1-1 draw at leaders Truro City this afternoon (7th March)
A game of limited opportunities saw Town grab the lead after 12 minutes when Shane White powered home a header from Ryan Brett’s corner. Alex Battle missed a chance to draw his side level when he sliced past the post before Truro equalised after 64 minutes when the division’s leading scorer Tyler Harvey turned to fire home from six yards. Jamie Price saw his shot hit the crossbar as Town looked for a late winner but it ended all square.
