The Peacocks look to build on their fine BetVictor Southern League win on Saturday when they travel to Merthyr Town tomorrow evening (11th February), kick-off 7.45pm.
The weekend victory at Swindon Supermarine saw Town climb up to 4th place and another positive result in Wales tomorrow will reinforce the Peacocks’ position in the play-off zone. Merthyr lie in 15th spot with 32 points from 26 matches and have failed to win in their last five league games including defeats in their two most recent home fixtures. Town though will therefore need to be ready for a Martyrs side eager to get back to winning ways at the Met Coaches Community Stadium.
The Peacocks name an unchanged squad from Saturday. Head of Football Rob Dray said:” A very difficult away game on a midweek and Gav will have his side ready for us that’s for sure so after the high of Saturday it’s important we replicate the intensity of the Swindon game.”
