Taunton Town FC are back home on Saturday 18th January 2025 as they face Wimborne Town FC with a 3pm kick off at The Cygnet Health Care Stadium.

On Friday 17th January 2025 it was announced that Striker, Brandon Bak has joined the Peacocks on a loan until the end of the season from Weston-super-Mare AFC.

Richard Luffman stated “Brandon is a top prospect who’s scored goals in national league south, fa cup, Somerset cup and fa trophy already this season. Let’s hope he’s adding some southern league goals to his tally soon.  We’ve been trying to sign a 9 to add to Zebroski and have struggled. Search over, we’re going to help Brandon develop his game and let’s hope he helps us get some more points. Welcome Brandon”

Excitement builds around Taunton eagerly anticipating a glimpse of Brandon where he could possibly make his debut for the club tomorrow.

Wimborne Town FC, who sit in 15th place have won 2 of their last 5 games, drawing once and losing twice whereas the Peacocks currently sit in 7th place being unbeaten in their last five, winning three and drawing two.

Last time the two teams met, Taunton Town FC suffered a 3-0 defeat away to Wimborne at The Wyatt Homes Stadium on 9th November 2024 and will be hoping to take their revenge.

A win tomorrow for the Peacocks could potentially put them up to 6th if results go in their favour.

Richard Luffman whilst previewing the game stated; “Tomorrow is a tough game against a very direct football team who make every game tough. Against us last time out they out battled us and they stopped us getting into our flow. Let’s hope the tables can turn. We’re in a good spot at the moment and keen to go 7 unbeaten.”

Richard Luffman is sponsored by Cotford Car Sales.
