The Peacocks maintained their unbeaten home record this season as they drew 1-1 with Bracknell Town in the Southern League Premier South this afternoon. In a game often in keeping with the dour grey weather, there were few chances until Taunton made a breakthrough two minutes into first half added time when keeper Josh Gould’s long delivery was flicked on by Toby Down and Tom Smith was free to slot past Eacott despite vehement Bracknell appeals for offside. Opportunities were limited until the Robins equalised after 69 minutes, Jake Scrimshaw breaking to feed Remy Coddington to curl home past debutant Gould, as both sides had to settle for a point apiece.
