Ellie Samways

I’ve been playing football for 6 years. Since then it’s been my biggest passion. I started playing football when I was 11. I was unsure of what I was doing so I volunteered to go in goal. 6 years later I still love being a goalkeeper. I started at Ilminster Town under 12s and progressed through the leagues before moving to Yeovil Town to do the same. This is where I played my first women’s game and ended up being Division 2 winners. From there I played for Street WFC for six months before moving to Taunton Town WFC, which I am very proud to be a part of. It’s been a wonderful journey so far and I look forward to the future and to be able to develop as a player. I look forward to a successful season.
