Tylor Love-Holmes Joins on Loan from Truro City
This afternoon Taunton Town announced the signing of loan player Tylor Love-Holmes. Tylor currently plays for Truro City FC, who sit 4th in the division one step above us, the National League South.
Tylor, 21, is a versatile defender who can also play in wide positions. He came through the academy at Plymouth Argyle before spending time at Millbrook and then at his hometown club Saltash United. There he won the Manager’s Player of the Year award and picked up the club’s Outstanding Moment award for an overhead kick against St Blazey.
He joined Truro City in July 2024 after a successful trial and impressed straight away, making 20 appearances in the club’s title-winning 2024-25 season. He has since signed a new contract and is part of Truro’s full-time squad.
Head of Football Lloyd Irish said: “We’re delighted to add Tylor to our squad on loan from Truro, he’s a versatile player that can play in various positions. He’s proven at this level having had a loan spell with Plymouth Parkway where he scored 10 goals in 9 appearances, including 2 goals against Taunton at Wordsworth Drive in March 2025. We’re carrying a few knocks at the moment so it’s important we not only add some depth to the squad, but also quality. Tylor ticks all the boxes and will go straight in tonight’s squad for the match against Gloucester City. A massive thank you to Truro City for helping us get this sorted efficiently.”
Tylor is expected to be in the squad for tonight’s match away at Gloucester City.
