Connor is a former schoolboy goalkeeper with Plymouth Argyle and joined Taunton Town after leaving Plymouth, initially making several appearances during the 2010-11 season before featuring over the next two seasons under Paul West and then Leigh Robinson. He also represented England Schoolboys during the 2011-12 season when he helped them win the prestigious Centenary Shield against the other home nations. After leaving Taunton in 2013 he went on to play for Wellington, Bridgwater Town and Clevedon Town before finishing his playing career at the age of 25 when he moved into coaching. This was initially with Cribbs FC until returning to the Peacocks as goalkeeping coach in 2021. He the took on the role of Head Coach during the summer of 2023. Connor is the Director of Sport at a college in Bristol and currently holds and MSc in Sports Coaching and a UEFA B licence.
