Midfielder

Competitive Debut: 01/11/2016 v Slimbridge (H) as sub, Southern League

First game for the Peacocks: As above

Ross is in his second spell at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium after returning from playing in Australia in January 2020. A skilful left-sided player who can operate as a winger or left back, he came up through the Bristol Rovers Centre of Excellence from the age of 14, eventually earning his first professional contract in 2012. However, he was released after one season and went on to join divisional rivals Yate Town in the summer of 2013. Ross then signed for National League North side Gloucester City in February 2015 before going on to have loan spells at Paulton Rovers and Shortwood United during the first half of the following season. He joined Hereford in January 2016 where he featured regularly in the side that were Midland Football League Champions and losing FA Vase finalists but requested his release from the Bulls in October 2016 and signed for the Peacocks, making an immediate impact by scoring eight times in his first dozen starts. Ross departed to play and coach in Australia in January 2018, featuring for Rockingham City and then Eastern Lions, before rejoining us upon his return.
