A veteran of more than 350 Football League games, Lloyd joined the club on loan from Bath City in December 2021 before making the move permanent at the end of the season. He spent a month on loan at Torquay United in December 2019 before he left Forest Green in February 2020 and signed for Bath City. Internationally he has represented Wales at U17, U19 and U21 level.
