We currently have the following positions available on a voluntary basis and would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to become involved with the club and help us move forward:
Changing Room Attendant - this key role requires an organised and sociable person who will ensure the smooth running of the changing rooms on match days.
Events Co-Ordinator - a self-motivated and professional individual with good communication skills to work closely with the Chief Executive. The role will involve management of events and liaison with clients. Computer skills essential. Expenses may be available to the right person and it could lead to future employment.
Matchday Stewards – to work as part of a team on matchdays responsible for general crowd management and other duties. Experience preferred but not essential, more important is the ability to communicate effectively. Refreshments will be provided.
Assistant to the Kit Manager - duties will involve helping the Kit Manager with all aspects of washing, cleaning and maintaining the kit and training equipment to a high standard.
Football Coach - to assist and work closely with the Head of Football Development both coaching the Under 18 team and with the future development of players through a new Development Centre. Must possess a minimum qualification Level 1 FA Coaching Certificate but also importantly want to develop players through a professional and structured pathway.
Mascot Co-Ordinator - to actively source, organise and host local youth football teams that act as mascots on matchdays. The role would suit someone already involved in local children's football who is able to be present at home games when mascots are attending.
Wordsworth - we need a person(s) to take on the guise of our club mascot Wordsworth (costume provided), primarily on matchdays but possibly on other irregular occasions as appropriate. Must be able to engage with all age groups and generate a sense of fun!
Sponsor Host - a sociable individual to meet and greet our matchday sponsors, and oversee their matchday experience.
Grounds Team members – to work on matchdays and other times throughout the year. Experience not necessary as training will be provided.
